I was a young mom before the "teen mom" generation. Since I had a young child at home I was unable to pursue my educational journey right after high school. I was driven to learn more and to become more successful. This is the driving force back in the beginning and still today.
I began as a orthodontic assistant who was trained on the job, and I loved it. There was so much to learn about the world of teeth and creating beautiful smiles. After years of learning I felt that my career life had become stagnant, I was bored.
So, I started my job search again and landed in dental practice that had general dentist and an orthodontist on staff. It was here that I began to learn the world of all things dental. Excited with the opportunity to expand my capabilities, I dug in and absorbed all the information possible. Here is where I really began to develop and perfect my customer service skills, and focus on connecting with people, patients and team members.
Feeling stagnant again and now my children are teenagers, I set my goal to attaining my bachelor's degree. I headed to the college in town which happened to be University of Michigan. Recently I was promoted to office manager, I chose to pursue a degree in health administration. Having attained that in 2016 while utilizing what I learned in my career, here I am again feeling like I want more.
After twenty years with my current company, stagnant once again, I have set my goals for attaining a career as a medical/dental sales representative and welcome to my employment page.
